 After two or so years of absence, the Reality Team, an arm of Psyphon Games (formerly Brutal Arts) did in March 2008, due to significant interest, re-activate the Reality expansion.
Reality was borne out of the desire of many people to have a more challenging and demanding FPS, without any of the arcade type bells and whistles. It promotes teamwork whilst demanding co-ordination, determination and patience. In short, it levels the playing field between the younger and older players, (i.e. what a mature player may lack in speed, can more than be made up for in cunning, patience and worldly experience, more commonly known as common sense)..

Novaworld News at 2.nd January 2008: Expansion, Terranova mod, Urban Assault, ShocknAwe BHD, DJ, NSO BHD the Insurgency mod, BHD and TeamSabre.
ShocknAwe JO is a modification of Joint Operations Typhoon Rising. The mod is backwards Compatible with all Joint Operations Typhoon Rising and Escalation Missions. You must already own a copy of the Original Game from NovaLogic in order to use this Mod.
This mod was built to bring a new and exciting add-on to the original JO game. This mod contains tons of added content from all the games listed above as well as over 50 terrains. The mod contains a variety of different types of models to allow Mappers to bring a whole new range of maps to life. Mappers can build maps from plain desert to urban cities and neighborhoods.
The mod is available for download at www.teamtxd.com. We will list additional mirrors to the mod on the download page as we receive the info for them. All Support issues should be addressed by visiting the Forums at teamtxd.com. You will see a section for this mod on the site.

| JO: International Conflict Mod v4 updated again |

| International Conflict is releasing another small patch to fix some issues in the last release (see below). This patch will upgrade a system from 4.1.2 or 4.1.7 to the new version of 4.1.8 (anyone mirroring the 4.1.7 patch file can basically delete it and replace it with this patch).

The mod team has put together an update for IC v4. The new version is 4.1.7. This is only being put out as a patch. New players will need to get the v4 full installer and then run this patch on top of it. Please plan to use this for the final battle.

NovaLogic is pleased to announce that the International Conflict mod for Joint Operations: Escalation has been approved for use on NovaWorld. The IC mod brings a new twist to Joint Ops game play with a focus on team play and tactics and is used in the ongoing International Conflict Tournaments.
The International Conflict mod joins Brutal Arts? Reality mod as the only Joint Operations mods sanctioned for play on NovaWorld.

NovaLogic has released a new update for Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, Escalation, and the recently released Joint Operations Combined Arms. For those whose product version is up to date, the size of the update to be downloaded is approximately 10MB. You can update the game by selecting ?update? from the main menu screen in the game or in the Joint Operations program group in your Windows Start Menu. For those experiencing trouble using the update service, the update can also be downloaded from www.NovaLogic.com. Updating in game is a quicker process than going to NovaLogic.com as the file sizes are significantly smaller. This update is required to play on NovaWorld games.
