Novalogic: Novaworld Community changes

NovalogicAfter the weekly reboot of the Novaworld services yesterday, we missed the lobbypart when logging in to Joint Operations today. Before we had three different lobbys hosted by three different servers and it seems two of them are gone. Now you get directed to the server that where hosting the american lobby before, without choosing any lobby at all. That may could be a sign that Nova is going to use those missed servers for the upcomming new games for betatesting.

The Novaworld website is still up, but if you are trying to logon you get directed to the Novaworld 2 Community website. That one changed the status from alpha to beta...

Novalogic: MTR Soft announced Delta Force: Angel Falls

NovalogicThe distributor and publisher MTR Soft announced the outcomming First Person Shooter Delta Force: Angel Falls.
The Delta Force series is back, bigger, better and more beautiful...

Set in the north-west region of Central America (near future in Colombia & Venezuela) "Delta Force: Angel Falls" takes the player to the rural, sparsely populated, jungle areas of this exotic locale. Avoiding the over-exposed Middle Eastern settings; the South American environment provides a premise which is naturally beautiful and full of new millennium conflicts.

Marginal governments, involved in local expansionism, continually scuffle with one another and with major global powers. Complicating the setting, drug cartels have evolved beyond money and violencedriven entities to political forces rivaling established governments. Influenced by current events, the game is both topical and novel.

The sometimes local philosophy of "your enemy is my friend and your friend is my enemy" gives rise to a multitude of ever-changing alliances and conflicts which drive the game's rapid action and easy-to-digest back-story. The culmination of the conflict takes place in the Angel Falls area of Venezuela providing both a spectacular setting and a surprise ending.

From worthplaying.com:
Novalogic is secretly working on a series of titles based on the CBS drama The Unit, which in turn is based on Eric Haney's novel Inside Delta Force. The Unit: Operation Acid Gambit will be the first title according to sources inside the development team, and will make use of an all-new engine, as well as new animation software. An official announcement will be made later this year, but the premise of the game is that your mission will be to fix the mistakes Delta Force has made, and change history.
